Washington, D.C. – Nate Chen Racing Announces Partnership with Clutch Masters for the 2021 Formula DRIFT PROSPEC Season
Nate Chen Racing (NCR) and Clutch Masters Inc. (Clutch Masters), today announced an agreement designating Clutch Masters as an associate partner of the Nate Chen Racing Toyota GT86 and S14 for the 2021 Formula DRIFT PROSPEC season. The partnership represents a new relationship between NCR and Clutch Masters.
NCR will utilize Clutch Masters’ FX1000 twin disc in the Toyota GT86. The FX1000 offers maximum durability without compromising comfort and performance, rated to withstand more than 1,000 HP. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and is then Type 3 hard anodized, meaning that the cover assembly holds roughly 25% more tensile strength than other manufacturers’ cast units. NCR currently uses Clutch Masters’ FX400 in the S14 practice car. The FX400 is designed to deliver 170% increased holding capacity compared to an OEM clutch and is perfect for drifting and road racing use.
